Did you know that 60 men pass away from suicide every hour globally?
I'm raising money for Lifeline to help combat this number.
Each year over 1,000,000 calls for help are made to Lifeline, sadly 25% of the calls are from a male.
Each call costs Lifeline $39.
As a member of Vipers Run Club, I will be one of over a hundred runners taking part in our annual "Move for 60" event, where we will run non stop for 60 hours between Queenscliff SLSC & North Steyne SLSC in the hope of raising $100,000.
That will cover the cost of 25,641 calls.
Each donation, no matter how small or large can make a difference as it means Lifeline can answer more calls from someone in crisis and ensure their services will be there tonight, tomorrow night and every night to help Australian's in crisis through their toughest moments.
