Why I’m Running 30km Across Sydney
The Sydney City Loop for Lifeline
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be taking on the Sydney City Loop for Lifeline — a 30km run across the City of Sydney to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
This challenge is about more than fitness. It’s about starting conversations, supporting Australians doing it tough, and showing that no one should feel alone in their struggles.
The run will travel through some of Sydney’s most iconic locations including Barangaroo, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Woolloomooloo, Moore Park, Green Square, Glebe and the CBD, highlighting the communities and people that make this city what it is.
Mental health impacts people from all walks of life — families, workers, business owners, students, and young Australians trying to find their place in an increasingly difficult world. Lifeline continues to provide critical support to thousands of Australians every day, and this run is my way of giving back while helping raise awareness for the importance of mental health support services.
The goal is simple:
One city. One run. One cause.
