Georgia’s Out Of The Shadows 9km Walk

By Georgia Elia Join Me

I'm getting active to support Lifeline.

On 9 September, I'll be taking part in a 9km walk to raise funds for Lifeline, with a goal of raising $500 to support the incredible work they do every day.

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, and sadly, more than 9 Australians lose their lives to suicide every day. That's why this cause is so important to me. I've seen firsthand how challenging life's struggles can be for people I care about, and how important it is to have support available when it's needed most. Lifeline provides a vital service for people who are struggling, ensuring that support is available anytime, anywhere, for anyone who needs it.

Every 24 seconds, someone reaches out to Lifeline by phone, text or online chat. Behind each of those contacts is a person looking for support, connection, or simply someone to listen without judgement.

I'm asking for your support as I take on this 9km walk. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps Lifeline continue providing lifesaving support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so that no one has to face their toughest moments alone.

Thank you for supporting me and this important cause. Together, we can help make a real difference in the lives of Australians who need it most.
