Walk to Talk

A talk can save a life.

The recent lockdowns have significantly shifted the social and economic landscape in Australia and will exacerbate the risk factors that are clearly linked to distress such as economic hardship, employment, relationship breakdown and loneliness, particularly for young people.

In August this year, Lifeline received the most calls in the history of their organisation.

You are not alone.

On Sunday 29th of August I will be walking 100,000 steps (~85kms) to raise awareness for mental health.

Although i'll be doing the walk alone, the walk's intention is to promote quite the opposite.

You are not alone. Grab your phone and reach out to someone you know. Right now. Tell them you're listening.

A talk could save a life.
