A message for Lola 🫶🏼

My sister, my best friend, my soul mate.

I cannot put into words the hole that will be left in me without you. You are all I’ve ever known.

My rock, my protector, teacher, boxing coach, stylist..and at times the pain in my ass! But always my biggest fan. 

From a tiny little boy scared of the world, to a grown man that was without fear. 

You wouldn’t let me leave the house unless I looked a million bucks.

From the clothes you’d picked for me to the hair you’ styled 

the whole attitude you created for me said “I’m a winner! I’m cool, I’m friendly but don’t mess with me!” 

I want to truly thank you for everything that you made me become. 

You taught me strength, you showed me that I have talent and you gave me confidence that without your guidance and knowledge I would’ve never had.

what will life be without you? 

You made our family your whole world and your the glue that kept us all together.

You surrounded us with love. Your tenacity and spirit were unmatched. You were always willing to stand up and fight for the things that you loved and that meant even if you were wrong. 

If you were passionate about it then you would make damn sure the whole world knew about it. 

You accomplished so much with your time on earth, more than most will accomplish in their lives. 

No matter the task. if you had a goal you wouldn’t stop until you reached it no matter the cost and at times I know you run yourself ragged to meet those goals. 

I am blessed to have got to spend 35 years with you. I know they’ve been the best 35 years of my life and nothing will ever be the same without you by my side. 

I know how hard you fought to stay with us. I also know the same love is the reason you had to leave. 

This will not be the end

You’ll continue to guide over and protect me until we meet again.
