10,000 Steps A Day in March Challenge

21 in 21

March at lifeline is also 10,000 steps a day for suicide prevention. And the aim of making Australia suicide free.

Starting on the 3rd of March and finishing on the 23rd of March , 
we are setting out to run, walk, ride, and complete 21 half marathons in 21 days. 
While this may seem like a potentially tough task both physically and mentally, 

There are thousands of people out there each day, struggling. Anxious, battling and doing things tougher.

Instead of making this a marathon or running across Australia like a few amazing people are at the moment , I wanted to create something that can get everyone involved.

So let’s a run a cheeky half marathon or 2.

Whether your a fitness enthusiast 
A daily runner
Never run before
Want to challenge yourself
Or have been affect by suicide and/or the after effects of it.
Or overseas on holidays or on the other side of the country 

We want you to come along for the ride or run in this case. 
Whether it’s the full 21.1 or just a few ks. Everyone is welcome to come and join in and run any distance, 
This is all about getting involved.
Too come join in , with fun, positive people and a positive environment
You can run for time. 
Run for fun
Bring the dog
Grab a coffee, 
Or if things are tough at the moment, come out , get some fresh air, receive a free hug and even a chat if you like 😊 

This is an issue that is becoming all too common in today’s society. 
So let’s try turn a negative into a positive.
If it’s from improving your fitness and getting you out and about , 
I guarantee you will feel better both physically and mentally afterwards

If suicide has impacted you, like it has myself
Get out and tell a few stories along the way, and remember those we’ve lost , how we should be remembering them, that’s in a positive way, I know everyone has 2 or 3 good stories from the years past and great memories. 
So let’s remember the good times.
