My target 250 kms
This December I will be hiking from St Kilda beach in Melbourne to the Murray River, in a straight line. The mission will take over 240km, first up the streets of Melbourne then over the Great Dividing Range and across dozens of rivers, canals, fences and farms (with the generous permission of various Victorian farmers). If everything goes to plan I should finish at the Murray River near Tocumwal before Christmas.
