A kickflip a day keeps the mind at bay
This Feb, I’m challenging myself to land a kickflip a day to raise money for Lifeline and bring attention to mental health challenges.
It all started when I walked past my housemate's skateboard, picked it up on a whim, and landed a kickflip in the loungeroom.
Even though I haven't really skated in years, It was a small moment of joy that reminded me just how much a simple, physical activity can boost your mood.
Through this fundraiser, I hope to inspire some others—especially those who used to skate—to pick up a board, rediscover that joy, and support an important cause.
