42.2 done

Well that’s it.31/08/2020 I completed a marathon in 4:54. Stoked to make it to the end. Fully appreciate all the support for lifeline and the kid words of encouragement to make it to the finish line. We all have unlimited potential.

36 hours to go

Well it’s nearly time to lace up and hit the bitumen.
Having developed runners knee 3 weeks out I’m concerned but finishing is no longer an option. It’s a necessity.
Here we go!

177km run

To get prepared for a 42.2km run, training is necessary. In July I covered 177km. That’s 5.7km run everyday. Let’s keep going!!!

30km

Today was a hard run 🏃🏾‍♂️.
30km around Bibra lake with 8° weather to accompany. That’s 5 loops down, 2 to go to my target 42km 🎯. New shoes needed
I’ve run a few times throughout the years with my furthest distance at 21km. This time, this year I’ll be doubling that distance to 42km. It’s not going to be easy, but navigating life isn’t easy and I’m doing to this to prove that the mind is a powerful muscle with the ability to make that which seems impossible, possible. All it needs is a little work and a lot of faith.
