I'm proud to support Lifeline
I have chosen Lifeline because this charity resonates with me particularly in the industry I work in (Mining). Rates of suicide in the mining sector are 80% higher than the national average. I am hoping to raise more awareness towards mental health and help raise funds for one of Australia’s leading supporters for mental health.
Tragically, over 9 Australians die by suicide each day. It is a shocking statistic which is why I am raising funds to ensure Lifeline's services can continue to operate anyway, anytime for anyone.
Someone reaches out to Lifeline via phone, text and online chat every 24 seconds and with your help, we can ensure someone is there to listen, without judgement 24/7.
I will be organising a raffle with awesome prizes with all proceeds going to Lifeline. I am currently in the organising phase of prizes but will update this ASAP once I know what companies are willing to donate.
