As some of you already know I’ve been planning this for a long time, and the time has finally come- IM GOING BALD!
And it couldn’t be for a better cause. I have spent most of my life learning and re-learning that it’s okay to ask for help. Asking for a hand can be one of the hardest things that someone ever does and it can be even harder to ask for help from family or friends, and that’s why this organisation is so important.
In times like these, where we’ve all lost so much, when our minds are at our most vulnerable and sometimes it feels like nothing can help it’s so more important than ever that we all come together and let everyone know that we’re here for them, to support and listen and be a shoulder to cry on.
Talking to friends and family about what you’re going through can be a huge step in life and you may not be ready for it, but there are still people out there who care and are more than willing to listen- they want to listen and help in anyway that they can. What I’m trying to achieve here is part of something bigger- normalising speaking about your problems and reaching out for help.
