To All my Community,


Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for all your love, support and very kind donations. I was pretty shocked once i hit my initial goal of $1,000 and watching each donation come through made me feel very grateful for the community I have. 

Below is a copy of the post I made to facebook after my run:
"21 km done.
$4,100+ raised for lifeline, so far (donation link is still open if you wish to donate https://fundraise.lifeline.org.au/fundraisers/rubyoneill ).
I am overcome with emotions. I just want to express my gratitude to every single person who supported me in anyway during this run journey. Thankyou for the overflowing love and support I have received. This has been one of the toughest things I have done so far in life. For me, this run wasn’t about the km or the time I did it in this was about raising awareness and raising money for such a great organisation. I’m just doing my part in making this earth alittle brighter. I struggled alot in this run and the process. It wasn’t easy, I was in pain physically and felt like I had a mental block the entire time. At the start of November I couldn’t run 1km straight and I just ran 22!!!!
To Abe, I love and miss you so so so much mate 💔- I wish you could be here to experience all the new things in life but you will forever be in my heart and I will always keep your memory alive. To Abe’s beautiful family Rylie, Phill, Jas, Piper, Nellie and Abe’s extended family Thankyou, you guys played such a pivotal role in our grief, in our lives and we are so darn lucky to have you all ❤️
Thankyou to everyone who came down to cheer me on before and after and for everyone’s messages + calls I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such a beautiful community. I love you all so so much!!!!
The money raised went directly to lifeline & the impact it will have is immense. Lifeline is a non-profit organisation that provides free, 24-hour telephone crisis support service in Australia. Volunteer crisis supporters provide suicide prevention services, mental health support and emotional assistance.
Remember if you’re not okay. That is okay. Please don’t suffer in silence, reach out.

🌟 Hey everyone, On the 25th of December 2023, I'm taking on the challenge of a lifetime— my first-ever half marathon!! But this isn't just about conquering the km; it's about breaking down barriers, the stigma, raising awareness, and making a difference in the lives of those battling mental health challenges. 


🌈 Why Am I Running? I've dedicated this half marathon to something incredibly close to my heart—mental health and suicide awareness. The statistics surrounding mental health issues are alarming, and it's crucial that we take action. My goal is to shed light on this issue and raise funds to support Lifeline, an organization committed to being a lifeline for individuals struggling with their mental health. 


💖 How Can You Help? I'm reaching out to you, my friends, family, and community, to join me in this endeavor. Your support can make a world of difference. I am asking that if you are in a position to donate that you donate to my fundraiser. Every cent donated will go directly to Lifeline, where it will be used to provide vital assistance and resources to those in need.
