Walk to Talk started on the back of the first COVID lockdown in 2021. Walking was one of the only ways we could safely get outside and connect with the people we love.
In August 2021, Lifeline received 3345 calls - it's biggest number to date. In response to this record number of calls Alice Bleathman decided to walk 100,000 steps (~80kms) one Sunday to raise funds for lifeline and share the importance of talking about mental health.
Now, for the third year in a row, Alice is walking to raise funds, but this time with an army of people beside her.
Join Alice - physically or virtually - on the 21st of May 2023 to raise funds for lifeline.
If you can't quite walk 100,000 steps that's okay as well. Set your own target and join in on the energy of a great day!
And remember. You are not alone. Grab your phone and reach out to someone you know. Right now. Tell them you're listening.
